OSHA 10 Construction Course

OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Program Build a strong foundation in jobsite safety with NECEC’s OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Program. Designed for entry-level construction workers, apprentices, students, and individuals preparing to enter the skilled trades, this program introduces the essential safety practices needed to recognize hazards, prevent injuries, and work responsibly on construction sites. Course topics include: • OSHA rights and employer responsibilities • Fall prevention and protection • Electrical safety • Struck-by and caught-in-between hazards • Personal protective equipment • Ladder and scaffold safety • Hand and power tool safety • Excavation and trenching awareness • Material handling and jobsite housekeeping • Hazard communication and emergency preparedness Training is delivered by an authorized OSHA Outreach instructor and emphasizes practical, real-world safety awareness that students can apply immediately in the field. Participants who successfully complete all required course hours are eligible to receive an OSHA 10-Hour Construction card. Whether you are beginning a construction career, entering an apprenticeship, or strengthening your workplace safety knowledge, this program helps prepare you to work safely, confidently, and professionally.
